How about a bottle of bubbles? They can be quite mesmerizing and heart lifting...then again maybe not sticky enough? FINGER PAINTS!!! or even better pudding and jam painting...sticky, creative, colorful, tasty, completely silly and easy to clean up in the sink when your done...what to do with the paintings when you're done? (after licking your fingers) throw them away...they were just for play anyway...no need to save them...it is about process, bringing in your child-self.
