Great color choices. I don't think I would have the patience to work with oils. One of the reasons I like pastels so much is that there is very little drying time (even when I do a wash, because I use rubbing alcohol). Plus right now I have very limited studio space, I plan to fix up a space in my basement (it has full windows so light is not an issue)... but for now I am working in my home office.

I am reading a book called "The Girl Who Played With Fire" by Stieg Larsson. I already read "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo"... that was the first book in the series, and their is a third book called "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest". The books are pretty violent... but real page turners.Deb Ammermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00251607119791926401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8538469897504464477.post-46461863726016857072011-10-06T14:26:26.362-07:002011-10-06T14:26:26.362-07:00I like "Attraction," it's delightful...I like "Attraction," it's delightful.

On my iPhone I'm reading "The Summer of Naked Swim Parties" by Jessica Anya Blau. It's about the summer of 1976 and some teenage girls and their fun summer.

On my Kindle I'm reading, "What's a Ghould to Do?" by Victoria Laurie. Basically it's a gal who is a ghost buster and she helps get dead folks off to their final destination. I didn't pick this one, my book club did.

Thanks for the postcard, that was a nice surprise. CONGRATS on your Kindle purchase. You'll find it so easy to carry everywhere you go.

And happy cooler weather. I'm lovin' the coolness.

Keep on Blogging, cuz you know we're reading it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8538469897504464477.post-9745669129806882692011-10-06T08:27:35.009-07:002011-10-06T08:27:35.009-07:00The Best American Travel Writing 2010.The Best American Travel Writing 2010.Bonnie Bradynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8538469897504464477.post-39871156568950360952011-10-05T18:57:30.368-07:002011-10-05T18:57:30.368-07:00I am between books, too busy right now to start a ...I am between books, too busy right now to start a new one, perhaps this weekend.
