Tuesday

I am still serving my jury duty. It has kept me busy. I am finding the process interesting and enlightening, although I am ready to be done. Today we start our deliberations, so perhaps we will finish soon.

Here is another new painting, called "Gemstone". It measures 14 x 11 x 3 inches, and you can see how it looks hanging on the wall. I promise I will write more when I have a little bit more time! I have missed you, my blog readers!

what a wonderful painting karine. i am glad you are enjoying the process of jury duty. it is kind of cool even though it is kind of "disruptive" to daily routine. :)

Your work is gorgeous, Karine. It invites me to study the depth of color and the marks you've made. There's something rather mysterious to it.
I honor you for your committment to our justice system, however flawed it is. Good for you.

I like how you showed the sides...did you sand the corners/edges? Quite impressive.

Hope your jury duty is finished quickly.

Hey Karine, the photo of on the-wall-hanging-art is wonderful!!!! Now you really can see or better imaging how they look in real, wonderful! The artwork comes out better that way I think, you can see the dimensional view now. Wow!
Hope your jury work is over soon and you can create again.
Smiles your way, Anke ;)

Thank you, everyone for your comments!
Diva - I did not sand the edges, but painted them with the dark blue. I thought it looked cool.
