From ocean to desert

A few more shots from our visit on the coast.

Some of you may remember how much I love footprints.

One of the culprits.

Yesterday, we woke up to SEVEN blossoms on one of the cacti in our garden. WOW. They only last about a day and a half. I wrote about this cactus here.

Last, but not least, the third oil painting in the new triptych. I am still pondering titles. 24 x 24 x 1 1/2 inches.

You have been busy! I loved reading about your visit with your parents ~ your mum is a fighter. She also grows amazingly beautiful peonies. And then a weekend at the beach ~ those footprints are incredible. Your painting is wonderful ~ I felt as if I was looking into a window. Great colours. I liked this very much.

And then your cactus in bloom ~ the flowers are exquisite. Wonderful colours. (I wish I could grow cactus here outdoors and have them in flower.)
