I can't believe it's been over a week since I posted on my blog!!! I must apologize. I have been sick with a terrible head cold, and it caused me to pretty much shut down any extraneaous endeavors. I am on the road to recovery now, so I better make up for lost time!
This will be a quick post, because my dinner is ready.
Here is a painting from the recent batch. It is 12 x 12 x 2.5", oil on canvas. It's called the flower with no petals, or the bald flower, or something like that. I think it's cute.
Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!

I love it. How can you bare to sell them. You should have them all up on your walls. Do you hang anything that you make, do you rotate your art. Do you have art by any other artists on your walls.
should i? shouldn't i? maybe i should just go ahead and say it (forgive me), maybe i'm just hungry... the flower reminds me of those delicious cookies with jam and cream in the centre.
Glad you're feeling better.
I like this painting a lot...both the flower and colors (blues & oranges are one of my favorite combos.)
Mmmm...a cookie flower! It is pretty squishy looking, since I applied the paint of the flower in impasto - very heavy paint. It definitely feels like frosting or filling when you look at it! Funny that you caught that, Priya.
To answer your questions, Lee, I may just write another post!
I LOVE the bald flower!
OMG! It is wonderful! I am so glad you are feeling better!

Hey...what's for dinner?!
This is beautiful, Karine...I love (and totally cracked up with "Bald Flower") as a possible name. It looks to me like a Floating Flower.:)

Can't think why but find myself strangely drawn to this Bald Flower!!
