Wednesday night

5 things I am grateful for:

1. warm slippers on cold nights
2. real mail (letters and postcards from friends)
3. my aloe vera plant
4. that my husband and I never fight about money
5. yoga

Real Mail - that's a good one. I had a pen-friend in my school days 20 years ago, and how exciting it used to be to see her purple envelopes in the mail with Swedish stamps on them! Simple pleasures ... :)

I love real mail, too! In fact, with the exception of the yoga, this (list) is perfect for me.

I did this years ago and it literally changed my life...for the better. Focusing on the positives is very powerful.

thanks for your kind wishes, things I am grateful for today:
spell check so my left handed typing makes some sort of sense
the ability to dress myself almost (haven't mastered shoe laces yet
the fact that it is only broken bones and I will be able to continue doing what I love in the future
my friends both at home and on the net
